About
2rupeespeople.lol is a public leaderboard for anything with a link โ your product, your website, your app, your side project, your social profile. No ads, no fancy algorithm, no secret sauce. You pay real Indian Rupees to rank above everyone else. That's the whole product. We're not proud of it either.
What you can rank
Paste any URL. If it's a profile on one of the platforms below, we recognise it and show the platform's icon; if it's anything else โ a landing page, a Product Hunt listing, a GitHub repo, a Shopify store โ it's ranked under the name you give it. Same board, same rule: rank is the bid.
Platforms we recognise
How ranking works
Highest bid is #1. Second highest is #2. That is the algorithm, in its entirety. Pay more than the listing above you and you take its spot; get outbid and you slide down. Nothing disappears โ you just move.
The board shows the top 10 on the first page, then keeps going: #11 onward live on page two, #21 onward on page three, and so on. Rank is global, so #11 is genuinely the eleventh-biggest spender, not โfirst on page twoโ.
Categories
Every listing sits in one of 28 categories โ SEO & AI Visibility, Developer Tools, Marketing & Advertising, People & Profiles, Crypto, Real Estate, and twenty-two more. Pick one when you list.
Each card also shows where it stands inside its own category. You might be #14 overall and still be #2 in Developer Tools โ being a big fish in a small pond is a perfectly respectable way to spend money here. Use the category dropdown to see any category's board on its own.
Today vs All-time
All-time ranks by the standing bid โ the number everyone has been paying to climb. Today ranks by what was actually spent since midnight IST, which means a fresh spender can top today's board without touching the all-time #1. Two ways to be first, one of them considerably cheaper.
๐ Lucky Hour
One hour of every day is discounted. Which hour is a mystery until it starts, and when it's live the header says so. The discount comes off what you pay, not off your bid โ you still land at the full rank you bid for. Cheap glory, if you time it.
Claiming and boosting
Already on the board? Enter the same link or handle and pay again to raise your bid. If it's your listing, you can update the name, description, picture, category and numbers at the same time.
There are no accounts here, so ownership works differently: the browser you paid from holds the key. That's what proves a listing is yours when you come back to edit it. It also means that if you clear your site data or switch to a different browser or device, you lose the ability to edit that listing โ you can still pay to raise its bid, but the details stay as they were. Worth remembering before you go tidying your browser.
Watching the board
Hot in 24 hours shows the listings people actually clicked most in the last day โ real clicks, not a vanity number. Latest moves shows who just claimed or boosted, and where they landed. Every rank counts: a โน27 claim at #15 shows up exactly like a takeover at #1.
If you left an email, we'll tell you when someone outbids you. There's also an opt-in โnotify meโ button that sends a browser notification the moment #1 changes hands โ no account, no email, just your browser.
You don't have to pay to play
Every listing has a reaction bar โ ๐โค๏ธ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ก โ one tap, no login, completely free, plus a share card for when you want to show someone your questionable financial decisions. There's also a Predictions page where you can guess who's still #1 in 24 hours with zero money on the line, just bragging rights on the spectator leaderboard.
Where the money goes
Every rupee spent here funds more promotion โ ads and campaigns that bring more people to the board, and more eyes on whatever you've listed. No ads on the site, no revenue share, no cut of anything you make. You pay to stand above everyone else, and that's the only thing you're buying. The Legends page publishes the running total of everything spent, because it would be strange to hide it.
Why โ2rupeespeople.lolโ?
Because the minimum bid used to be a joke and the name stuck. Also because ranking your Instagram above a stranger's for the price of a samosa is objectively very funny.
